Sumitomo Electric will showcase 24 fiber MT/MPO technology and its connectivity solutions which has a very narrow deviation with an average insertion loss of less than 0.1 dB. The narrow deviation shows very small insertion loss even when number of connections are applied consecutively. One of the solutions is the world most compact multi-fiber interconnect for on-board use that is 1/10 in volume and 1/5 footprint in comparison with the MPO connectors.
