MX110G is a fully integrated 110 GHz modulator instrument for use with 110 GHz vector network analyzers.
The MX110G allows the user to convert an all-electronic VNA into a test system for optical components.
Calibrated frequency response of the modulator is NIST traceable and provided with the instrument.
The MX100E version includes an electrical input amplifier for time-domain transmitter applications.
The user can input time-domain electrical test signals and produce faithful optical replicas up to 100 GHz.
All units include C- or O-band laser source, bias control of modulator and variable optical attenuator for output power control.
These instruments are at the state-of-the-art for high speed modulation.
