VI Systems offers a set fiber coupled test modules for of short wave division multiplexing (SWDM). The modules feature 50 / 125 um multimode fiber coupled vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) at 850 nm / 880 nm / 910 nm and 940 nm as well as a PIN photodetector module with individual data rates of 25 Gbps NRZ (non-return-to-zero modulation), 50 Gbps and 100 Gbps PAM-4 (4-level pulse amplitude modulation).  The modules can be used for SWDM transmission tests of up to 400 Gbps over one fiber.
