After fine-tuning the process, Suncall will begin the mass production of the new LC Pull Uniboot Connector beginning June 2023. This new connector has a reinforced boot allows for a quick push-pull insertion and removal of the connector (no tools required). The patented design unlocks the connector from the adapter when the boot is pulled for removal. This provides reassurance that a strong connection is maintained while the connector is in the panel. In the field, technicians can easily change the polarity without exposing fiber (no tools required).
