SPIO Systems presents its innovative platform, [SPIO], which enables the realization of frameless, miniaturized optical instruments at the wafer level – referred to as the SPIO optical chip. This platform integrates micro-optical components such as lenses, gratings, mirrors, and optical coatings, fabricated in polymer on glass wafer substrates.

By stacking multiple processed wafers, the SPIO platform facilitates the parallel production of a high volume of complete optical systems. This wafer-level approach offers substantial benefits, including ultra-compact optical signal processing, minimal spatial footprint, and scalable high-throughput manufacturing.

A representative application of the SPIO optical chip is a NIR spectrometer.
