SiPhotonIC has successfully developed and launched a unified SOI xPDK, now compatible with the most widely used photonic design automation (PDA) suites worldwide. This achievement streamlines the design process across proprietary and open-source tools, reducing inconsistencies and accelerating submission times. Designers can now work within their preferred PDA environment while accessing SiPhotonIC’s fast prototyping platforms with ease. Developed in close collaboration with Epiphany B.V., the xPDK is now being validated through photonic integration runs.
