OIF Interoperability Demo
The ECOC Exhibition will also host an OIF Interoperability Demo in OIF stand #C3425 at ECOC 2025.

Samtec is one of 35 member-company participants in the OIF demo, which aims to prove that the building blocks of the future, including optical, electrical, management, and energy-efficient interfaces, are ready for deployment. OIF demo companies will showcase innovations in 400ZR, 800ZR, Multi-span Optics, Common Electrical I/O (CEI) CEI-448G, CEI-224G, CEI-112G, Co-Packaging, Common Management Interface Specification (CMIS), Energy Efficient Interfaces (EEI), illustrating how standards enable
networks to scale for AI and data-intensive applications. Samtec’s products will be included in the CEI interoperability as well as the EEI and Co-Packaging demonstrations. As part of the OIF Interoperability Demo, Samtec’s Bulls Eye® ISI Evaluation Board offers
numerous variable length signal paths with known loss profiles beyond 90 GHz. When combined with Bulls Eye High-Performance Test System, the solution offers an easy-to-use test platform for evaluating and demonstrating 224 Gbps PAM4/448 Gbps PAMx signal performance. The Bulls Eye block is compression mounted adjacent to the SerDes being characterized. End 2 of the cable assembly
connects to instrumentation using precision RF connectors as small as 1.00 mm.
