In 2019, Ousent and Shenzhen University established a joint development project. The project “Research and Development of 800G Silicon Optical Modules, Key Chips, and Packaging Technology,” which began in 2021, has received approval from the Shenzhen Municipal Government’s technology initiative. Compared to traditional DSP, this solution reduces power consumption by 70% and offers lower latency.
