MicroCare Corporation recently announced that the Sticklers™ fibre optic cleaners have been approved for use by Openreach Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BT Group.
Openreach field engineers will use Sticklers Fibre Optic Cleaners as part of their multi-billion pound “Fibre First” programme to install and maintain the physical high-speed fibre broadband network throughout the UK.
Helping the engineers in the field to get the job done is a unique portable Sticklers field cleaning kit. “The cleaning kit contains everything field engineers require to clean fibre optic connectors and splices quickly and effectively in the field,” said Liam Taylor, MicroCare European Business Manager, Fibre Optics.
