Suncall America has two preliminary designs for LC products that focus on FTTH. The first is the LC Shutter Connector, featuring an integrated shutter that improves safety by reducing the risk of laser exposure during handling or maintenance. It will be available in three different cable sizes and is environmentally friendly – no dust caps required. The second is the LC Simplex Internal Shutter Adapter with an SC footprint. It incorporates Suncall’s trusted internal shutter design to provide added protection from laser exposure and dust/debris. This product also reduces waste by not requiring front dust caps.
