New fiber optic adapter range for LC connectors in Duplex and Quadruplex format.
The innovation consists of a cap mounted inside the body, which automatically opens and closes when the connector is inserted or removed.

Perks of this mechanism
• Avoids the entry of dust inside the ferrule during connection and disconnection,
• Facilitates maintenance, as there is no need for removal and reattachment of the caps.
• Reduced risk of eyesight regarded accidents, specially dangerous on invisible wave-lengths. If there is a laser signal presence, contact is imposible as there is an intermediary tab which closes ad opens when the connector is inserted or removed.

The ALD range incorporates a double tab locking system on both sides of the body, which fixes the adapter to the panel perfectly in place without the need of screws.
