The HYPERLABS HL9409 100GHz Balun is an ultra-broadband 180° signal splitter/combiner with a specified bandwidth 500kHz to 100GHz (-3dB). Originally designed for use in 224 Gbps PAM4 communications systems, the HL9409 is currently being used to generate PAM4 data transmission rates of 448Gbps+, while also enabling high speed PAM6 (174 GBaud) and PAM8 (150 GBaud) data transmission rates.
