Oxford Fiber Ltd. has developed a new dust-insensitive, cleaved, air-gap MPO Connector for high reliability MPO connections.

The 12 fibers ends are angled cleaved to avoid polishing damage, anti-reflection coated and glued into a standard MPO connector housing. It is offered as a spliceon MPO connector.
Insertion Loss <0.5dB; Back-Reflection better than -55dB. The connector can be mated and unmated more than 100 times with no change in performance. The end face does not require extensive cleaning and so is highly reliable, ensuring continued network performance.

We also offer conventional, physical-contact, splice-on MPO connectors.
