Compact narrow-linewidth swept source laser for the C-Band

Stand B71

11th September 2024

Chilas has developed a new compact narrow-linewidth tunable laser module ideal for sensing applications like structural health monitoring using Fiber Bragg gratings, molecular detection using ring resonators, and LiDAR remote sensing.
Featuring a fiber output power over 10 mW, it is tunable over the C-band (1528-1568 nm) and it can sweep across this range at 40 nm/s. Its compact housing of only 100x60x20 mm contains an extended-cavity diode laser with all the corresponding electronic drivers. The housing includes a DB9 connector, but a USB interface can also be supplied upon request. The included software allows easy control of the laser.
