Ciena is set to host a live demonstration of the Vesta 200 6.4T CPX optical engine at ECOC 2026. The engine is designed to be compliant to the Open CPX MSA. Ciena is one of six industry-leading companies that founded the Open CPX MSA, announced at OFC 2026. The MSA is operating under a charter to create an open CPO/CPC ecosystem that can deliver standardized, pluggable solutions at hyperscale to the broad market. This path offers significant operational advantages over first generation of CPO deployments that are forecasted to begin later this year.
