Bifrost Communications ships its first customer orders of the complete 25 Gbps transceiver with 40 km reach. The company announces a strategic collaboration with Gravity Media, a global media production company, with whom it completed live testing of broadcast media transmission over an existing network. Bifrost seamlessly upgraded the link from 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps simply by replacing the existing 10G pluggable with the 25G Bifrost Quasi-Coherent pluggable. We demonstrate both our 25G and our upcoming 50G Quasi-Coherent transceivers on stand 2094.
