Official shell scheme contractor

GES

Shell scheme booths include a fascia board (name board) & stand number per open side, walls, Grey carpet, 1 x 500w (2 amp) electrical outlet only & 3 spotlights on a track. One electrical outlet per booth irrelevant of the size of the stand.

Stand Walls

Aluminium structure with white melamine panels. Each panel is 2500mm high x centre 992mm to centre of each pole, visual size of panels 2340mm high x 946mm wide. 

Fixing by staple or pinning into the wall panels is strictly forbidden.  The cost to clean or replace damaged panels will be passed onto the exhibitor. Heavier exhibits maybe supported with a proper fixation system available as an optional extra but nothing may be screwed, nailed or pinned, stapled or glued to the face of the panels.

AT THE END OF THE SHOW YOU MUST REMOVE ALL TAPE, VELCRO ETC FROM YOUR SHELL SCHEME WALLS.  IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS OR DAMAGE THE PANELS IN ANY WAY YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THIS.

Stand Dividing Walls

Stand dividing walls are not normally included in the cost of utilising the floor space. Wall orders require support walls around every four metres. Support walls and other types of support may be directed inwards towards the stand. No support walls or other forms of support may be removed without the written consent of the official shell scheme contractor. In the event of unauthorised removal, the exhibitor may be charged for the restoration thereof.  Following the event, the stand walls shall be cleared of staples, screws, nails, sticky patches. Destroyed walls will be charged to the exhibitor. Wallpapering is only permitted on chip clad walls and to the substrate not stapled or taped.

Shell Scheme upgrade

GES offers an upgrade for the basic shell scheme. This stand model accommodates a unique graphic backdrop. Your graphics cover the entire booth and are safely housed within matrix frames. CLICK HERE to view

Fascia Nameboards

Shell Scheme exhibitors will receive a fascia name on every open side per booth.   A CHARGE WILL BE MADE FOR NAMEBOARD ALTERATIONS ONSITE. If you require a logo please contact GES for a quotation. Please note that there will be a charge for this service.

Carpet

Grey carpet is included for shell scheme exhibitors.  Alternative colours are available and can be changed but at your own cost. Please contact:

Exhibitors wishing to lay their own carpet should contact their stand contractor or the official carpet contractor.

Exhibitors will be charged dilapidation and cleaning costs if any carpet, tape or residue is left in the hall. The official carpet contractor will only remove the carpet they have laid. They will not remove carpet from different contractors or exhibiting stands.

Corner Sites

All corner sites will be open to the gangways with fascia overhead.  Should you require additional walls you can order through the official shell scheme contractor GES.
Corner shell scheme sites are supplied with fascia board including company name and number on each open side.

Island Sites – open on all sides with no walling Stands that are open to gangways on all sides

All Island sites will have fascia to the perimeters with Ceiling supports and vertical uprights within the stand where deemed necessary by the organiser. Exhibitors with large stands should check with the organiser regarding construction. Should you require additional walls you can order through the official shell scheme contractor GES.

Multiple Stands

All multiple stands will have dividing walls removed. However, front uprights and ceiling structures will remain. A full range of accessories for shell scheme stands is available from the shell scheme contractor.

Shell Scheme Extras

A range of accessories for shell scheme stands is available to hire from the official shell scheme contractor.  No alteration to the exterior of a shell scheme stand construction and fascia will be permitted but the exhibitor has freedom of design for the interior providing that it is contained within the shell scheme supplied and does not project on to the aisles or on to another stand. Shell scheme walls are contained with the site allocated thereby reducing the effective dimensions by 30mm in length and depth of the wall on part island sites.

SHELL SCHEME ENHANCEMENT

Electrical Supplies

The electrical voltage is 230v single phase and 400v three phase. Please be aware an electrical distribution board will be installed on your stand. Incoming main cables will come from the floor manholes.
Please note the electricity will be switched on and off 30 minutes before and after the exhibition is open and closed unless 24hour power is requested when placing your electrical order.

Electrical Tripping Problems

Sometimes we encounter electrical tripping problems before show open time which is caused by exhibitors having too many electrical items on one circuit. This causes issues for other exhibitors on the block;

To prevent this from happening we advise you to:

  1. Switch on your machinery one by one leaving a 10 second gap in between.
  2. Order the correct amount of power for your stand, if necessary, consult Bill Moule & Sons about the equipment you are bringing.
  3. Any stand that has not ordered the correct and adequate power for their equipment, we the organisers reserve the right to increase the power at the exhibiting companies cost.

Illuminated Display Cases

If you are ordering a display case which is illuminated you will be required to order an electrical connection to each case, this is listed on the electrical order form.

24 hour supplies are available please email info@billmoule.co.uk for a quotation.
If you require power during breakdown to decommission any machines please contact Bill Moule & Sons Ltd by the deadline date written on the order form.

Furniture

Furniture is available at an extra cost to the exhibitor and can be ordered through
GES
Important Note:  Furniture must be ordered before the event or you will experience problems ordering particular items on site as the stock will be very limited once at the venue.

Waste Disposal & Waste Management

Recycling stations – Waste carts

The SEC will provide recycling stations and will be located around the hall.  A location plan will be provided nearer to the event.

It is important that you as the exhibitor adhere to the rules of the venue and help keep waste to a minimum by taking your waste to the carts provided.  Click on the following link for further information. Waste Protocol

Any large items must be removed by the exhibitor/stand builder.

For information on removing large items or an entire stand please contact the organisers

Skips can be arranged for any company wishing to leave a large amount of waste. MDF/Wood/Large Signage etc.

Any company not using the waste bins provided and leaving stand waste/rubbish on the hall floor and leaving the venue will be fined after the event.

The floor manager will be monitoring the waste situation.

Stand Cleaning/Aisle Cleaning/Waste Containers

Final cleaning of the exhibition area & aisles will take place prior to opening.  The aisles must be cleared by 1400hrs, stand construction can commence up until 2000hrs on the 1st October but only within your allocated stand area.

All stands will be vacuumed daily FOC.
