All build-up companies and their workers/ employees have to be duly accredited in order to gain authorized access to the facilities. Upon entry, ID card and all documents esteemed necessary by the Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga have to be presented.

SHORT GUIDE OF THE BUILD-UP CONDITIONS IN PAVILIONS
Mandatory; ALL Exhibiting Stand Requirements:
Contracted space must construct and decorate an exhibition stand including furniture and graphics – the stand must be manned throughout the event. Failure to provide a stand plan will breech the terms and conditions of the contact. The contract will be revoked, and no refunds or access to the event will be given.

Official Shell Scheme, Carpet & Furniture contractor
Shell scheme booths include a fascia board (name board) & stand number per open side, walls, Grey carpet, 1 x 500w (2 amp) electrical outlet only & 3 spotlights on a track. One electrical outlet per booth irrelevant of the size of the stand. STAND CLEANING IS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGE.

9sqm Enclosure Regulation;
9sqm stands are prohibited to enclose their stands, only a storage cupboard of 1m x 1m is allowed.
Enclosed Stand’s
Enclosed room or walling CANNOT exceed 40% of the total stand square meterage, this will be viewed as a meeting room. Charges will enforced if exceeded.
Alter Expo Deadlines
Please be aware that prices will go up by 25% starting from 27th of August, also matrix upgrades will go offline at this date.
An additional 10% will be added for orders made from 7 September 2026
The webshop will close at 12:00 on 10th of September, after this date you can come to the organizers office to check for on-site stock; but this is first-come-first-served, so please place all your orders on time.
All services will be ready for exhibitors on Sunday 20th of September.
Electrical
All shell scheme stands will receive 1 x track with 3 spotlights and 1 x 500w Spanish specification socket outlet. Any additional electrics can be ordered via the official Electrical contractor Bill Moule & Sons, click on the following link to order:

Stand Walls
Aluminium structure with white melamine panels. Each panel is 2500mm high x centre 954mm to centre of each pole, visual size of panels 2410mm high x 954mm wide.
Fixing by staple or pinning into the wall panels is strictly forbidden. The cost to clean or replace damaged panels will be passed onto the exhibitor. Heavier exhibits maybe supported with a proper fixation system available as an optional extra but nothing may be screwed, nailed or pinned, stapled or glued to the face of the panels.
AT THE END OF THE SHOW YOU MUST REMOVE ALL TAPE, VELCRO ETC FROM YOUR SHELL SCHEME WALLS. IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS OR DAMAGE THE PANELS IN ANY WAY YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THIS.

Stand Dividing Walls
Shell Scheme upgrade
Alter Expo offers an upgrade for the basic shell scheme. This stand model accommodates a unique graphic backdrop. Your graphics cover the entire booth and are safely housed within matrix frames. CLICK HERE to view
Fascia Nameboards
Shell Scheme exhibitors will receive a fascia name on every open side per booth. A CHARGE WILL BE MADE FOR NAMEBOARD ALTERATIONS ONSITE. If you require a logo please contact Alter expo for a quotation. Please note that there will be a charge for this service.

If you would like your fascia nameboard removed please contact the organisers 6 weeks prior to the build up of the event.
Carpet
Exhibitors wishing to lay their own carpet should contact their stand contractor or the official carpet contractor.
Exhibitors will be charged dilapidation and cleaning costs if any carpet, tape or residue is left in the hall. The official carpet contractor will only remove the carpet they have laid. They will not remove carpet from different contractors or exhibiting stands.
Stand Cleaning/Aisle Cleaning/Build up and Breakdown Waste Management
Stand cleaning is not included in your shell scheme package. CLICK HERE to order through the FYCMA
PLEASE NOTE: Building waste, including metal, wood or electrical items (including cabling) cannot be disposed of onsite and stand builders/exhibitors are requested to remove these items and manage this waste offsite. Anyone booth not complying with this stipulation will be fined in excess of €2000 (fine will be levied will be dependent on the amount of waste abandoned onsite)
Corner Sites
Island Sites – open on all sides with no walling Stands that are open to gangways on all sides
Multiple Stands
All multiple stands will have dividing walls removed. However, front uprights and ceiling structures will remain. A full range of accessories for shell scheme stands is available from the shell scheme contractor.
Shell Scheme Extras
A range of accessories for shell scheme stands is available to hire from the official shell scheme contractor. No alteration to the exterior of a shell scheme stand construction and fascia will be permitted but the exhibitor has freedom of design for the interior providing that it is contained within the shell scheme supplied and does not project on to the aisles or on to another stand. Shell scheme walls are contained with the site allocated thereby reducing the effective dimensions by 30mm in length and depth of the wall on part island sites.

Electrical Services
ALL ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS – INCLUDING “MAIN ONLY’S” MUST BE INSTALLED BY OUR OFFICIAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR:

The electrical voltage is 230v single phase and 400v three phase. Please be aware an electrical distribution board will be installed on your stand and must always be accessible. Incoming main cables will from the floor ducts or ceiling.
Important – please read:
- Only one extension lead per socket may be used.
- Lighting circuits must not exceed 1000 watts
- Any complaint regarding the electrical installation must be reported in writing before the close of the exhibition.
- Unless supplied with a drawing the installation will be fitted at the electrician’s discretion. Any repositioning of these on site will be charged at £25.00 per item.
- If any electrical fittings are positioned within a shell scheme i.e. not attached to the walls or fascia, please make sure that the corresponding light battens have been ordered from the official stand contractor.
- No allowance has been made for maintenance to client’s own fittings/tracks during the exhibition.
- Each showcase with lighting will require a connection – please remember to order if required.
- IMPORTANT – all electrical sockets including 4 way extension leads will be schuko specification – please remember to order adaptors if you require UK outlets – one per socket outlet used.
- Please ensure that all distribution boards are accessible to the official electrical contractors at all times.
- Please note the electricity will be switched on and off 30 minutes before and after the exhibition is open and closed unless 24 hour power is requested when placing your electrical order.
- All electrical installations must comply with the Venues Regulations – see end of electrical services section.
Electrical Supplies
Electrical Tripping Problems
Sometimes we encounter electrical tripping problems before show open time which is caused by exhibitors having too many electrical items on one circuit. This causes issues for other exhibitors on the block;
To prevent this from happening we advise you to:
- Switch on your machinery one by one leaving a 10 second gap in between.
- Order the correct amount of power for your stand, if necessary, consult Bill Moule & Sons about the equipment you are bringing.
- Any stand that has not ordered the correct and adequate power for their equipment, we the organisers reserve the right to increase the power at the exhibiting companies cost.
Venue Regulations
Installations of Temporary Electrical Supplies:
The electrical department is responsible for installing all the main electrical supplies for stands, meeting rooms, stages, and special areas to ensure that all electrical requirements for the event are met.
Technical Support During Events:
The electrical department provides technical support during events to handle any unforeseen issues with the electrical systems and equipment. This is to ensure the operation of electrical systems during the event.
Stand Installations:
Cables must comply with IEC 60227 or IEC 60245.
Cables must not be used in areas accessible to the public unless they are protected against mechanical damage.
Where joints are made, they must be either by plug connection in accordance with the relevant IEC-standards or made in an enclosure.
Access to Distribution boxes:
There must always be free access to distribution boxes within the exhibitor’s construction.
Circuit Protection:
All circuits supplying sockets and lighting must:
- Be protected by automatic disconnection of the supply along with supplementary protection by an RCD (Residual Current Device – HPFI) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
Illuminated Display Cases
If you are ordering a display case which is illuminated you will be required to order an electrical connection to each case, this is listed on the electrical order form.
