How does a virtual exhibition work?

Exhibitions continue to be one of the most effective ways of promoting your latest products and services, as well as sharng your company message with a targeted audience. Our virtual exhibition will work in the same way. You can promote your business to targeted groups of attendees and unlike a real exhibition, our doors will remain open for 6 weeks instead of 3 days!

The virtual exhibition hall will work in a similar way to the physical exhibition. Visitors will be able to browse the hall and visit virtual booths. They can view your profile to find out about the services you offer, view product videos and other content, as well as request a meeting or live chat.

Visitors will be able to search for an exhibiting company alphabetically, by company name or stand number, or search for exhibitors within a specific market sector or by product type, this will be linked to the information you provide under your Market Sectors.

How can we generate sales leads from a virtual booth?

Through our online exhibition you will be able to populate your virtual booth with company information, product videos, meeting time availability as well as photos, pdfs and other information you wish to share with our visitors. Unlike a live show, you will be able monitor and record statistics of the attendees visiting your stand, looking at the most popular areas of your booth as well as how many downloads and video plays so you can share leads with your team to follow up.

You can update your booth as often as you like over the 6 weeks its live, to keep visitors coming back.

 

How long will my virtual booth stay live?

All virtual booths will stay live for 6 weeks after the event dates – 7-9 December – and our regular promotional activities and emails will continue to drive traffic to the event.

 

How can I create my booth?

We will be providing training sessions to demonstrate the virtual exhibition as well as offering training sessions in November to show you how to set up your online booth and make the most of your virtual event experience.

 

What will my exhibitor booth include?

Some of the features available include:

  • 3D booth with exhibitor profile including videos, supporting documents,
  • Landing video which auto-plays when a visitor visits your booth
  • Exhibitor profile page with company and product information
  • Upload video demonstrations and/or podcasts
  • Multiple opportunities for interaction – download a brochure, request a meeting, request a call back, leave a business card
  • Live meeting rooms available for business discussions
  • Let visitors know when you are next available for a live chat
  • Access to the list of attending visitors with one-to-one online networking opportunities
  • Access to recorded presentations, slides, and other post-event resources from the feature areas of the exhibition (Market Focus, FTTx Centre, Training and the Industry Awards).

 

What will happen on the online event days?

One week before the event, visitors will be invited to view the full exhibitor list and timetable for the three days. This will allow them to create a schedule and pick and choose which exhibitors they would like to meet and which sessions to attend.

All of our content, including the virtual booths and exhibitor profiles will be available for 6 weeks after the event.


How will online networking work?

Once you have created your profile, you will be able to connect with virtual visitors or other exhibitors and our matchmaking system will suggest visitors that may be interested in your products and services.

You will also be able to view a full list of all visitors attending which can be searched alphabetically, by name, job title or company.

 

When will the ECOC Exhibition take place?

The live event will take place from 7th to 9th December 2020.

 

Where will ECOC Exhibition be hosted?

The event will be hosted on our website and can be access via PC, table or mobile.

 

Will sessions be available after the event dates?

All of our content will be available for 6 weeks after the event so there will be plenty of time to catch up with anything you missed.

 

What languages will the sessions be available in?

All sessions and content will be in English.
