ECOC Exhibition 2020 goes virtual
29th September 2020
After 24 years of you coming to us, ECOC Exhibition 2020 is coming to you!
ECOC 2020 is our 25th anniversary event and whilst we would have loved to have welcomed you to the exhibition halls in Brussels, Belgium, the location of our very first exhibition back in 1995, we look forward to meeting with you virtually for our first online event. Due to the ongoing restrictions and circumstances beyond our control, including travel disruptions due to the pandemic, both the ECOC exhibition and conference have no alternative but to move to become a fully online event.
Our priority will always be the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and all of our attendees and so although we are disappointed that we won’t get to see you in person this year we wanted to make sure as many visitors and exhibitors can still experience the key meeting place for the optical communications industry in a safe way.
The ECOC Exhibitions continues to be one of the most effective ways of promoting your latest products and services, as well as sharing your company message with a targeted audience. Our virtual exhibition will work in the same way. You can promote your business to targeted groups of attendees and unlike a real exhibition, our doors will remain open for 6 weeks instead of 3 days! The virtual exhibition hall will work in a similar way to the physical exhibition. Visitors will be able to browse the hall and visit virtual booths. They can view exhibitor profiles to find out about the services offered, view product videos and other content, as well as request a meeting or live chat.
As a virtual visitor to ECOC Exhibition you will have access to live and pre-recorded Market Focus sessions, meaning you can join and watch as many sessions as you choose, at a time that suits you, from your PC, tablet or mobile device. Hear from industry leaders from around the globe as they share almost 20 hours of insight and knowledge on technological development and the issues facing the industry. Our sessions will be moderated meaning you can still take part in polls and Q&A sessions.
We will be releasing more information over the coming weeks and have produced an FAQs section to help answer any queries you may have.
