All about this year’s host city – Dublin
12th February 2019
ECOC 2019 takes us to Dublin, situated on the East Coast of Ireland and famous for its easy-going charm. The event will be held at the RDS Venue, located close to Dublin City Centre.
Dublin is a city full of culture, history and entertainment and will provide some beautiful backdrops during your visit at ECOC 2019, including the iconic Ha’penny Bridge, featured on many postcards and images of Dublin, the bridge was built in 1816 and provides a beautiful viewpoint of Dublin. Take a visit to the Guinness Storehouse and the Jameson Whiskey Distillery, discover how these expert crafts are made on one of the tours and enjoy the opportunity to sample a pint of Guinness.
Or stroll down the famous Grafton Street, filled with shops and musicians, and a great place to immerse yourself in the culture and atmosphere of the city or take a stroll through St Stephens Park to discover lakes and scented gardens and enjoy the beautiful Irish surroundings without leaving the city. Situated just next to Grafton Street it really is a great place to experience the contrast of both sides of Dublin.
